Patrick J. Heery, Esq., a 2014 graduate of Capital University Law School and a 2011 graduate of Denison University, joined our law firm as an associate attorney in November, 2014 after serving as our law clerk since February, 2014.  As a law student, Patrick worked as an extern for the Hon. Lester G. Nauhaus at the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) as well as for Sterling Sports Management, a Columbus-based sports agency.  He also “wrote-on” to The Capital University Law Review, where he participated as a Staff Member for the Volume 41 edition.  He was later selected to be an Associate Notes Editor for the Volume 42 edition.  Finally, as part of his Dispute Resolution concentration, Patrick participated in Capital Law's Mediation Clinic and received a CALI Award (given to the student scoring the highest grade on the final examination in a course) in Labor & Employment Arbitration.

During his time with Bluestone Law Group, Patrick has prepared Memoranda, Motions, Complaints, and letters relating to real property tax appeals and civil litigation (contract) disputes.  He also prepares purchase contracts and provides assistance to clients with their business and commercial real estate transactions.  

Outside of work, Patrick is a volunteer basketball coach at the North YMCA and enjoys going on skiing trips to Breckenridge, Colorado and Seven Springs, Pennsylvania.
